This month we were blessed with not one, but THREE private trackdays on the Nordschleife. First came the event from Trackdays.de, and then came two days with Destination Nürburgring. Here you'll find a few shots and videos from the latter event.

With well over 200 cars present, it was undoubtedly one of the best-attended events of the whole Nürburgring calendar. Only 150 cars were allowed on track at once though, and despite a crowded car park and a lot of talk, the track wasn't too crowded. OK, the first half-hour of open-pitlane was more like a TF session than a trackday, I won't lie - but within the hour it had settled down comfortably.

As is becoming normal for the DN events, the quality of metal on display was staggering. Real supercars being driven on a real racetrack. Checkout the bugs and brake dust on the Lambos and Ferraris! Without doubt the fastest car present was being driven by Michael Vergers on behalf of UK company Ultimate Trackdays. He was giving taxi laps in a Radical SR3. Really. Video below...
When he last drove a radical here it was the SR8-LM on its lap-record run with street legal tyres and trim... but with the lower-powered SR3 and slicks, he reckoned he could go even faster. Bloody amazing stuff!
Want to drive more exciting and exclusive Nürburgring trackdays? We have places on August 15th and September 27th, €499 per car! And maybe a date in October? Contact me for a spot...

...where lifting for Schwedenkreuz is like squatting for a pee!
That must be sensational, slicks and downforce, amazing!

On the one hand, you have the lightning fast, perfect handling masterpiece of engineering that in the hands of an artist driver inspires awe and dominates the viciously winding serpent's tail that is the Nordschleife.
On the other hand, you have a Ferrari.
