If you’ve not seen this video yet, sit down and grab a cup of tea/coffee/whatever and get comfy. Ten years ago I featured this on the front-page of BTG and it was a massive hit. And that last corner?! Holy crap… Continue reading VIDEO: EPIC last-lap battle from 2006 Fiesta ST Cup
If you want to race on the world’s longest and most dangerous permanent racetrack, it’s not as simple as picking up your racing license and driving over to the ‘Ring. Not any more.
The Nordschleife Permit system was introduced last year to prevent inexperienced amateurs from stepping into super-fast racing cars and putting everybody at risk.
Unfortunately the DMSB were allowing exemptions for certain high-grade licenses, and it left the new system open to abuse.
It appears that the loop hole has now been closed… no paying a third-world country club for your Int. B license then short-cutting into a GT3… not anymore! Continue reading DMSB release NEW 2016 Nordschleife Permit rules
Just strike this one up on the massive list titled “Missed Opportunities at the Nürburgring”. While there’s nothing wrong with this video of a classic Rothmans-liveried Porsche 911 rally car enjoying the Nürburgring GP circuit, there’s nothing really that exciting either.

And we’re not talking about one or two month’s worth, oh no. The WHOLE OF 2016 is here and ready for you.
I really can’t stress how much we all depend on these dates, and how important they are. You can start planning your holidays here, and I can start taking RingTaxi bookings! 😉
Below are a couple of highlights, or maybe the weekends to avoid, depending on your point of view.

I think it takes all kinds of traffic to make the Nürburgring Nordschleife special, which is why I created this graphic. Back at the end of Summer, more than 250 of you bought a T-shirt based on this graphic, but many of you asked me for the words I’d written to be included on the graphic… well, here we are!
