VIDEO: WTF is double-clutching, and why do you do it?

So if there’s one question I get asked a lot about on my YouTube channel, it’s “WTF are you doing with the pedals?”

(Yes, I’m ignoring all the other questions that are very rude, obviously)

Mostly, I have to say, I’m double-clutching. To your Grandad and maybe even (depending on your age and his trade) your Dad, double-clutching was the norm. You used the clutch once to get out of gear and ‘in’ to neutral. Then again to get out of neutral and into the next gear. It sounds a lot longer than it takes.

VIDEO: Unlucky E30 driver, wiped out by an Audi TT at Adenauer Forst

Going straight-on at Adenauer Forst is nothing new or unusual. If you stand there at 8am on a Sunday morning you can probably see a dozen bikes or cars make that mistake in the first hour.

BMW Frenzy (Project E30, Old Timer GP, Luke’s E92, etc…)

Like Harry Potter living under the stairs , the project E30 has been neglected of late. Abandoned for months outside MatechSports due to lack of garage space, a conversation with #underdog N24 crewchief Kjetil and helper Erik was the impetus I needed to get the little 318is back on the road.
