Whether it’s cars overtaking on the wrong side of the track in public driving, race cars ignoring double yellow flags, or pedestrians narrowly avoiding crashing cars, the Nürburgring is clearly dangerous.
It’s an argument that’s probably as old as the Nurburgring Nordschleife itself. When an overtake results in a crash, both drivers will normally blame each other. Any racing driver will tell you, a good overtake is clean, decisive and clear.
This overtake is absolutely none of those things.
And the result is predictably heart-breaking…

This is a pretty shocking video, and hats off to the guy for uploading it. It shows a big mistake at the Nürburgring, and the horrible consequences.
