It’s no secret that the good ol’ boys at GM have brought their latest, hot-snot, Corvette to the Nürburgring. But have you seen the rear-end of this beast? It’s a mess.
February 23rd arrived and Lamborghini did indeed drop more details about their much-rumoured Huracan, although they failed to reveal an actual laptime.
No matter, because now potential customers are revealing their dealers are talking about a 6m52s lap. But let’s not talk about that too much until the video arrives… because that’s a full 5-seconds faster than the Porsche 918! Continue reading SPOILER ALERT: Lamborghini continue to tease us all
UPDATED: More video at the bottom of the page! If Donald Trump is upset about leaks in his security, he should have a talk with the bosses over at Sant’Agata Bolognese, Lamborghini HQ. Ever since the black bull rented the Nordschleife last year, it’s been widely believed that the Huracan Performante set a new Nürburgring laptime. Continue reading UPDATED: Lamborghini set to drop the new Huracan’s laptime next week
Just a quick update with a far-too-short video I shot in the evening. The little mid-engine Hyundai has generated a massive wave of interest around the world, but its appearances on the Nürburgring have been all too short and sporadic. Continue reading VIDEO: That 350hp mid-engine Hyundai RM16 in action
Hyundai, it would seem, are pretty damn serious about their new ‘N’ performance brand. At first I thought their hottest new ‘N’ car might just be a 250hp i20. A contender for the Golf Mk6 Edition 30 of 2010.
But then I just saw this…
Lamborghini’s latest test-mules arrived back at the ‘Ring for the final testing session of 2016. The famous “Industrie Pool” sessions run for just another three weeks before winter arrives, and the teams move on to other test locations.
Pagani haven’t been to the Nürburgring in an official capacity for many years now.
So it was a big surprise for me to see this Huayra BC hit the Nordschleife today in the official “Industrie Pool” testing session… Continue reading VIDEO: Pagani Huayra BC testing at the Nürburgring
Ignore the GT badges on the front of this Megane, spotted testing on the Nürburgring Nordschleife this week. Instead look at the wheels, the brakes, and those bolt-on arches.
Looking from the rear, those tyres are at least a 235 size, maybe bigger.
Oh yes, that’s mostly like a test-mule for the Megane RS. A new RenaultSport machine, and (I’m told by those in the know) a strong contender for fastest-ever front-wheel-drive to ever hit the ‘Ring. Continue reading SPOTTED: Five-door automatic Megane RS test mule
Porsche’s soon-to-be-officially-acknowledged 991-shaped GT2 is still pounding out the laps at the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
The weather is utterly fantastic right now, though with track temperatures hitting nearly 50ºC at times, laptimes are not exactly at the top of the priority list. Continue reading More Porsche 991 GT2 photos
August is here, the weather is glorious, and every session of terroristenfahrten (public driving) is crazy busy, and crazy, well, just crazy!
And thanks to the statistically better weather, the industry pool can get a little bit more interesting too. More supercars appear, and they’re driving faster than ever. Continue reading Second-gen Porsche 991 GT3 edges closer to release
