It’s nearly five years since BMW dropped its turbocharged bombshell on an unsuspecting fanbase. Harking back to the times of the 2002 Turbo, the 1M Coupe combined the smallest available chassis with a huge amount of torque.
“I wanted it,” admits Simon Eibl of Laptime-Performance.de. “I bought one almost straight away. And I promised myself I wouldn’t modify it too much.”
Fortunately for us, Simon didn’t keep that promise.

After nearly 10 years away, I’ve finally made the trip back to Norway’s capital city; Oslo.
Why am I here? Well, I’m just following my Project E30…

Not only is Rachael Clegg’s latest calendar beautiful, informative and fun. But it’s also just downright cheeky!

Today wasn’t just a lovely November Touristenfahrten day, it was the final planned day of Nürburgring Nordschleife driving in 2015. BTG was there, to the very last minute, and the very last lap…

Today is the one time of the year that racing cars can officially go fast the wrong way around the Nürburgring Nordschleifen.
It’s the Rallye Köln-Ahrweiler, and one of the special stages is from Adenau to Nürburg, back to Breidscheid. We couldn’t miss it, so my boys and me took the Suzuki 4×4 on our errands this morning and managed to snap a few photos at some key locations:

I was gutted to miss some of the big trackdays this August and September, (although I could hardly turn down invitations to race at both the Zolder and Barcelona 24h events).
Luckily for me, my schedule allowed me almost unfettered access to possibly the biggest and best trackday of the year.
Amazing cars, largely fast and respectful driving and only a couple of big accidents. All under a GLORIOUS deep-blue sky that made August look winter.
What follows is simply a gallery of photos by frozenspeed and myself.
