Visitors to BTG will be more than aware that yesterday rally cars were driving backwards around the Nürburgring Nordschleife. I posted a whole mess of photos here.
But I was concentrating on the area between Eschbach and Karussell. YouTuber Nordschleife96 put together a much more complete compilation reel and uploaded it last night. Including some great action (and sound) from Hatzenbach.
And that’s where the title image of this story comes from – as many of the cars ignored the conventional idea of staying on the Nordschleife and took to the grass instead:
